A professional transient wandering Earth's extreme regions.Oerjasaeter said the lure of overcoming his personal challenges ("Will I be able to work with people? Will I be able to enjoy the dark season?") brought him to Longyearbyen. He said he doesn't know his long-term plans, but even after a long winter he has no regrets.
"The snow and the light, it's beautiful, but it's the people that keep it going," he said.
