Dexter was my first real jazz love, and I think if someone is going to like jazz, they'll like LTD.
When friends ask me what to check out first, I suggest five albums: Kind of Blue by Miles and co., Go by Dexter, Heavy Weather by Weather Report, Metheny's Bright Size Life and Brubeck's Take Five.
