I am saxophonist Dale Fielder, Alvin's cousin and am letting everyone know that Alvin is very ill and is in intensive care as of July 2009. As you have read from the text, Alvin is very important to the jazz world and we need the likes of him, as well as his brother Bill Fielder who is also ill to remain among us. I am asking for your prayers, please.
