Congratulations on capturing the distinctive spirit of the JazzWorks Jazz camp. I've been a committed jazz fan for about 60 years but about 15 years ago I decided to become an improvising jazz vocalist. I attended the Jazz Camp for 6 summers and have participated in, and ran for a number of years, the monthly JazzWorks jam sessions. The contribution of JazzWorks, to me and countless others of all ages, has been immeasurable. It has been a labor of love to Judy Humenick and the faculty. Long may it flourish.

Great article. Thanks. One correction: Gordon Webster, originally from Ottawa,is now based in new York, not Toronto.
