    Another band that could easily have been included is Dan McMillion's Jazz Orchestra From Florida. Yes, many of the band's charts come from the Maynard Ferguson book (with Dan playing Maynard's role) but they play much else beside. The Frank Mantooth arragement of "So In Love" (from the the band's CD "Give It One") is one of the best arrangements I've heard. Ever.
