Nice review...I think it's an amazing collection of songs. I agree the documentary isn't a true biographic piece..they really should do at least a 4 hour proper biography on Jimi. I'm a huge Hendrix fan so anything I hadn't heard before is priceless and this really delivered for me. I've had it over a month and still listening to all the disks to soak it all in. I think the Hendrix-Young stuff is awesome...and Jimi should get his due for being jazzy and improvisational.
