    Very funny and it gives even a hopeless pessimist like myself a glimmer of light in the near suffocating darkness to know that a self-admitted son of hillbillies can transcend that, for most people dead end origin and reach for the sublime heights of a Trane solo..whoopee!

    Well, yes, but one thing I always say to writers at the site: we are not the arbiters of what is good; we are the arbiters of what we like. It's an important distinction, I think, to realize that our tastes don't necessarily define what is good and what is bad...only what we like and what we don't.
