Great article, Nick. Bennett is an inspiration for his chameleon-like ability to adapt, especially for those of us who are "aging in place" with our music. Many lessons to be gained from studying this man and his command of the music biz, as well as his musicianship. His recordings with Bill Evans are phenomenal and inspired me when I made my first CD. I made sure I included some piano duos a la Evans and Bennett on it.
