George Duke is one of my favorites. The Epic years were not near as good as the MPS earlier stuff, but there's still some good stuff here. Brazilian Love affair is amazing and a classic in my opinion. Contrary to what George says about "From Me To You", I love this record. Much closer to the MPS stuff than the other Epic records. And the way it starts is classic. Maybe my favorite start to a record ever. And the way it goes into the 2nd track.(And what a great 2nd track! ("Carry On" The changes, rhythm, sounds, synth solo...killer) Great. I use that record beginning as an example when I talk about production. Love that record.
