    Good review as usual Pat...although you were perhaps too 'obliging'(?) to the likes of James M. and the CHJO. As I told one of the members of that group, we all love and respect big John Clayton but the theatrics in front are a bit distracting. And, as far as Ernie goes, he puts the band into the dance category. Too bad on that.
    But that band and several others over the event looked to be rather sad from a players point of view. Someone mentioned to me, 'do you notice that very few of the musicians are smiling?' Good comment and point. And finally, since the first respondent always gets more slack, gotta say that 'Waynard' is a class guy. Up against Sandoval and remembering his time with the other guy, MF, he takes no prisoners but is truly a humble, beautiful cat.
