Like a classic Pharoah Sanders marathon session, Emilio's trio takes us on a long journey, exploring a series of musical paths that build one atop the other until, at the end, a slight return to the opening theme, giving the sense of having traveled a very long distance with a relaxed laid-back gait. The effect of the prepared piano is a magnificent touch. Jazz from Fano, Italy, in the "Regione Marche."
