Power, Passion and Beauty - The Story of the Legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra has been published by Abstract Logix Books.

My current book is titled Power, Passion and Beauty- The Story of the Legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra. Writing this book was a journey of confirmation and rediscovery. To a great degree, my life has been shaped by ten minutes of music I heard when I was sixteen years old. I knew I wasn’t alone then, and I know I am not alone now. Over 30 years later, it is our turn to pay the music back. Power, Passion and Beauty is my offering.

Here is an excerpt from a 4-Star review from MOJO Magazine: “Kolosky has done his heroes proud with this lovingly written, definitively researched (all five sundered members and dozens of associates co-operating) and page-turning account - from conception to destruction to a kind of resurrection. Forget about punk: this is 403 chords and the truth.” - Colin Harper.

I hope you have an interest in the book.

I am proud to be a part of allaboutjazz. Michael Ricci is performing a very important service for the jazz community..
