Tim O'Keefe covers jazz in the Boston area.
I grew up in Everett, Massachusetts, a working-class city adjacent to Boston. While in Everett, I did my best to take full advantage of what Boston has to offer: I studied music from Berklee students who were looking to make ends meet, learned martial arts in Boston's Chinatown community and attended numerous outdoor music festivals.
I have a masters degree in writing from Northeastern University, located on Boston's Avenue of the Arts. I work as a corporate writer by day and do various side projects, but AAJ just might be my favorite gig.
